A Limited Series
Based On A
True Tuesday
Give me three boring things about your week. I'll make them a Netflix thriller you'd binge in one night and hate yourself for it.
You know the formula. A normal person, a quiet street, one weird little detail — and somehow it's eight episodes, the neighbour's lying, and someone is running through a field. Type the three most nothing facts about your week. We'll hand them back as a limited series, badge and all.
ONE PERCENT
SOME THINGS REFUSE TO POWER DOWN.
A normal man making pasta in a normal kitchen. His phone dropped to one percent and somehow did not die — it held there, impossibly, for the whole evening, as if waiting. Then the noise came from upstairs, where no one was supposed to be. He told himself it was the pipes. It is never the pipes.
FROM THE MIND OF SOMEONE HOME ALONE
What was upstairs the whole time will make you question who really made the pasta.
NICE TO SEE YOU
EVERYONE'S TYPING. NO ONE'S SENDING.
He ate the leftovers everyone said to throw out. That was the first thing he got wrong. The group chat — loud for years — went silent for four days straight, and they said the wifi was bad. The wifi was not bad. He charged his watch and noticed it had been counting steps he didn't remember taking. The leftovers were never the leftovers.
BASED ON A TRUE TUESDAY
Where those extra steps came from will change everything you thought you knew.
RUN
YOU CAN'T OUTRUN YOUR OWN APPLIANCES.
He ran every morning. Through the park, past the same fence, telling himself it was for his health. But a sock had gone missing from a sealed drawer, and the kettle had clicked off before he ever switched it on, and somewhere around mile two he understood he wasn't running for fitness anymore. He was running from the kitchen.
BASED ON A TRUE TUESDAY
Why the kettle was already warm will destroy everything he thought he knew.
